When can I apply for housing at the University Village?
Applications for the 2012-2013 Academic year will be accepted beginning October 1, 2011.
Where do I apply for housing?
You can apply in person, 7 days a week, at the University Village Apartments located at 305 Campus View Drive, San Marcos 92078 or online using the APPLY function. Once we have received your application, and you have submitted your Intent to attend CSUSM, we will offer you a license agreement on a first come, first serve basis.
How many students can live at The University Village?
The University Village is home to 625 residents.
How much will it cost to live at The University Village?
Prices have not yet been determined for the 2012-2013 Academic year.
What utilities are included in rent?
Water, trash, sewer and basic cable are paid for by The UVA as part of an all inclusive rental package.
When do I put down a deposit?
There is no deposit, but a $500 non-refundable service fee is due with your signed license agreement.
When can I move in?
We invite you to move in August 25, 2012. If an earlier move in date is requested, it will be considered on a case to case basis.
How will roommates be assigned?
You will have the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire about your interests and preferred environment, which we will use to place you with students who will help you reach your academic and social goals.
